We are fortunate to have many active Irish community groups across New Zealand.
Our community in Aotearoa NZ has long cherished its connections with Ireland, as exemplified by the extraordinary work to keep Irish music, dance, literature, genealogy, business and sporting connections between our island nations. Generations of New Zealanders of Irish heritage and Irish immigrants have contributed to this effort, and today we are fortunate to have active Irish groups right across the North and South Islands, from Auckland right down to Invercargill.
